Our History - Ardent Alpaca Clothing
have been purveyors of high quality alpaca clothing, accessories and home products for more than 12 years; established in 2002 we are situated in the heart of historic Beechworth in North East Victoria. The business was originally created by a husband and wife team whose knowledge, experience and passion combined to create this unique retail store showcasing finest quality Alpaca, its exquisite softness, lightness and versatility. Our longevity is a testimony to our commitment to stock the finest Alpaca with seasonal collections including a range of quality natural fibres and to provide our customers with first-rate, friendly, knowledgeable service. We support the Australian Alpaca Industry and take pride in stocking a wide range of quality Australian Alpaca products.
Our
The majority of our Alpaca clothing are from 100% fine quality Alpaca and by blending alpaca with other natural fibres such as cotton and silk we have clothing which are transeasonal, versatile and easy to wear. We enjoy a strong relationship with the largest Australian Alpaca fleece trader and clothing supplier in Australia. Our alpaca clothing collections comprise garments of quality and style for men and women encompassing both Australian and imported labels in timeless classic or contemporary chic. Our International collections are sourced from South America, the home of the Alpaca. The unique combination of colour, texture and design is manifested in garments featuring subtle pastel shades through to the bright, beautiful and intricate patterns of the ancient world.Our Future
We are excited to have recently expanded our cutting edge, contemporary designs to include labels such as Australian Alpaca Connection and Kuna. Our range includes Alpaca knitwear, jackets & coats, wraps, scarves, accessories, socks and, for the home, throw rugs, blankets, pillows and doonas. Sensuously soft Alpaca fur products in hats, collars and boas, beautiful floor rugs and bedspreads, slippers, toy alpacas and teddy bears. We are proud to source Australian Alpaca handcrafted accessories by skilled local artisans are unique and original gifts or treats for yourself.
